::Beautiful place full of history and memories. Located in the centre of a busy city, although it's very quiet and carries some amazing, thoughtful atmosphere. It's full of very old graves (The cemetery was founded at the very beginning of 19th century, before Poland regained the independence.) Great place for photography amateurs as well, as there are many beautiful sculptures and burial vaults to photograph. A definite must see when you're visiting Kraków.

::Polish cemeteries are worth visiting, a lot of monuments carry interesting design. It is very clean and silent here.

::Most interesting Cemetery for those with a fascination with WW2. There is a Polish WW2 plot, a German WW2 plot, a large Soviet WW2 plot and also a British WW2 War Cemetery. Plus numerous memorials throughout the cemetery. Well worth a visit and easy to get to on Tram Line 2 from central Kraków.

::Really a must see in Krakow. Historical place. Specially in the all saints day place is really beautiful. Cementary in summer time closes at 8pm and mainly in winter time 6pm but be careful because you may get locked inside. Night time it is mainly dark and its pretty hard to find your way around but with candles it looks really calming.

::Excellent service in the Cemetery Office. There is a numbered queuing system so you need to take a ticket as you come in. The queue didn't take long and the assistant found my family's grave in seconds and drew a detailed map to help us find it. It was a thrill to know where my great grandparents and my great-great grandmother are buried. The Cemetery is peaceful, though well visited and tidy with many mature trees. An interesting and moving experience.
